We move furniture to the middle of the room, cover it and the floors, and finish rooms in a sensible order so you always have somewhere to be. At the end of each day the work area is left tidy.
Low-odour, low-VOC paints are available for bedrooms, nurseries and anyone sensitive to smells, and we'll tell you how soon each room can be used again.
The right paint for each room
Living areas, bedrooms, kitchens and bathrooms all need different finishes. Wet areas get a mould-resistant product. High-traffic hallways get a tougher, washable finish. Ceilings get a flat finish that hides imperfections. Doors and trims get a durable enamel.
Older homes need extra care
Many homes built before the 1970s have lead-based paint somewhere under the newer coats. Disturbing it carelessly can create harmful dust, so in older homes we check first and prepare in a way that keeps that dust out of your house.

Do we need to empty the rooms first?
No. Just take down pictures and clear small items and breakables. We'll move and cover the furniture.
Can you paint kitchen cabinets?
Yes. Painting existing cabinetry is a cost-effective way to update a kitchen. It needs careful cleaning, sanding and the right primer and enamel to last.
How soon can we use a room again?
Usually the same day or the next, depending on the products used. We'll let you know for each room.
